Hi, I'm Erick.

I'm a plumber, a husband and a dad of two, and I live right here in Whiteland.

I've been a plumber for 7 years. I started Salty Dog Plumbing in 2024 with one goal: be the plumber people actually want to call. Upbeat, honest, and easy to reach.

Water is my specialty. I've installed systems for a water treatment company, so I know the equipment inside and out. Johnson County's water is very hard, and I don't want to be an everything plumber. I'd rather do a few things really well: water softeners, drinking water, backflow, water heaters and the repairs that come with them.

How I Work

I test first. Then I give you options, good, better and best, with the price on each one. You pick what fits. If your water's fine, I'll tell you that too.

My wife is the budget boss at our house, so I get it. You want a straight number before anybody picks up a wrench.

Off the Clock

When I'm not under a sink, I'm with my wife and our two little ones, or at church, where I play bass and help wherever they need me.

Why "Salty Dog"?

No really cool story. I wanted to get into water filtration and softeners, and I had a dog. So, Salty Dog Plumbing.

About the bulldog: every plumbing company needs a mascot. Ours has a pipe wrench and a good attitude. No grumpy plumbers here.
